I always do humorous cards at Christmas for friends and family and sometimes for other occasions too. They are a lot of fun to do, free from the constraint of reality or accuracy. Thinking of designs and executing them always puts a smile on my face. Since I was little I've always loved cartoons — they were one of the things that got me started drawing. This one was inspired by a trip to Svalbard, but definitely not based on actual field observations!
